Q&A
-The game is too hard!!
Shydrox's answer : If you find the game too difficult, try focusing on the number sequence and press Space whenever a blue number appears. Once you're more familiar with the track (around your third playthrough), you can start focusing on the "Next" label as well.
NSM's answer : The first playthrough is always tough so don't worry too much about it and just enjoy the experience. You will improve as you get more familiar with the music and the visual cues. My go-to strat is to rely on the blue numbers in the number line while taking occasional glances at the Next target panel to brace for the first beats of the next bar. Please share your score if you manage to get a full combo!
- I tap to the beat but don't get "Perfect"s.
NSM's answer : You can set an offset to your inputs in the in-game menu. Decrease it if you get many "Late"s and increase it if you get many "Early"s. Few ms of offset is the recommended value.
- Is it original music?
Shydrox's answer : Idk, I'm the programmer...
NSM's answer : Yes! It was entirely made during the jam for this purpose. I'm still a beginner at music production and it is my first time experimenting with odd time signatures, but I'm pretty satisfied with the result. I hope you enjoy it as well!
- Why isn't it playable in the browser?
Shydrox's answer : For some reason, the web export is not the same as the PC version, and the browser version ended up being off-beat. Unfortunately, I did not manage to fix this.
Known bugs
- Mischart at the beginning of the 6/8 section (2 -> 1 -> 0). One of the pattern is written as "3 2 1" but should be "2 1 0". Consequently, the actual registered pattern is "2 1".
- In full screen, the black-and-white filter might not cover the entire screen.
- The offset is reset upon restart .

Just wanted to mention on the page itself rather than the submissions page, but the game randomly reset my offset a bit after restarting the chart at one point.
I will post my first reaction on stream to this later.
Thx for the report! It will be fixed in the post-jam version :)
I watched your VOD and I loved your reaction! Tysm, it means a lot to me.
Also this really is our first rhythm game (I had zero music knowledge when NSM came up with this game idea, and it was NSM's first time making a full track)
Glad you enjoyed the game!
